Come Along on A Journey as we Explore Life's Transitions

In the words of Charles Darwin, "It is not the strongest of the species that survives [...] It is the one that is most adaptable to change."

I specialize in working with Partnerships, Families, and Individuals in the therapy session.  I emphasize, rapport building, communication skills to build stronger relationships, to deepening listening skills and validation to show respect and understanding.  As a therapist I utilize diversity within my framework and am humanistic in my knowledge and skill.  As a team we can learn to manage our emotions, we will begin to empower ourselves, then we accept the strength to untangle those intricate parts of us. We will move forward towards and access our future.  With me as your guide on your journey we will explore together your new trajectory towards the future.

I have a private practice located at 6055 Lehman Dr., Ste 102, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80918.  You can reach me to setup an appointment at (719) 332-1246 or via email at [email protected].

Relationship Therapy is an art while attempting to improve romantic relationships and resolve interpersonal conflicts.  I find it rewarding to work with clients that are motivated in seeking help to understand themselves and how to improve their relationships, while mindfully exploring value-driven goals. I believe in recognizing multiple paths of potential interventions such as, respecting each family member's orientation, affect, role and interactional patterns. My approach is respectful, collaborative, and humanistic.

I specialize in Family's & Partnerships; however, I embrace individuals by understanding how a person relates to individuals in the family.  As a Systemic Therapist I view patterns in generational relationships and looking back into one's past. IE. (family or origin).  Family history taking is key during the session as I work to create a safe environment where you can heal emotional wounds and experience harmony.

Therapy requires specific training and education when treating delicate issues such as families, partnerships and individuals. Interconnections can be complex, and I have a passion for understanding why we act and react as we do.  I can make it easier to overcome the destructive cycles in which couples, families and individuals get stuck.

As a therapist, I am well trained to treat many mental health issues while integrating psychoeducation, skill training and energy psychology. I join with men and women who want to gain coping mechanisms in order to manage their issues.

Interventions used: Existential Coaching, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Couple Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, along with Feeling State Addiction Therapy. Issues addressed include Depression, Anxiety, Family Difficulties, Emotion Regulation, and Relationships, and Adjustment Disorders. I most commonly utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. However, each person is matched with techniques best suited to their needs. I will offer my assessments and suggest strategies and interventions I believe could be beneficial.

Therapy hours are flexible to accommodate the client's work and personal lives. I do not accept insurance,  I am out of network and do accept all major credit cards and health savings account.
